Portrait of Alison and Alexandria

Royal She is a Los Angeles-based alt-rock duo comprised of Belgian-American vocalist Alison Freed and San Diego native guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Alexandria Reyes. The two first made their mark on the San Diego music scene with their former band My Elysian, whose debut rock album earned a nomination for Best Hard Rock Album of the Year at the 2011 San Diego Music Awards.

After relocating to Los Angeles, they became fixtures on the city's storied music scene, logging countless nights on the Sunset Strip. Following a hiatus, the duo re-emerged in 2019 as Royal She — and wasted no time making their presence felt. Their debut single "Rollercoaster" landed a placement in a major film, signaling an exciting new chapter.

Their debut album as Royal She has amassed over 750K streams, 138 radio plays, two chart appearances, a playlist reach of 5.83 million, and more than 603K social media views. Now they're gearing up for their next chapter: new single "I Want More," arriving June 6, 2026 alongside a music video — the same day they take the stage at West Hollywood Pride's Women's Freedom Festival.
